Es un corrido bélico en primera persona: habla el jefe de un grupo armado que se presenta con sus apodos y enseña su gente. Lo importante no es el miedo que da sino quién lo acompaña: "Los muchachos que traigo / Kaibiles, militares, también rancheros". Gente con entrenamiento de ejército mezclada con gente del monte. El tono es de clan más que de amenaza, "Somos una familia / Nos rifamos la vida", y como medio corrido mexicano, cierra con una oración de protección: "Gracias a mi San Judas / Por siempre protegernos".

It is a first person war corrido: the speaker heads an armed crew, introduces himself by his nicknames and shows off his people. The point is not the fear he inspires but who rides with him: "Los muchachos que traigo / Kaibiles, militares, también rancheros" (the boys I bring, Kaibiles, soldiers, ranch hands too). Army trained men mixed with people from the hills. The tone is more clan than threat, "Somos una familia / Nos rifamos la vida" (we are a family, we put our lives on the line), and like half of Mexico's corridos it closes with a prayer for protection: "Gracias a mi San Judas / Por siempre protegernos" (thanks to my Saint Jude for always protecting us).
