Fue el primer sencillo de su disco debut, también titulado "Sin él" (1984), que produjo Marco Antonio Solís, autor de la canción. "Sin él" is the song that launched Marisela, the Los Angeles born singer known as La Dama de Hierro, the Iron Lady. It was the lead single from her 1984 debut album, also called "Sin él", produced by Marco Antonio Solís, who wrote the song. The lyric belongs to someone who let the man she loved go out of pride and now finds that her life was also his: she doesn't know how to live without him, and the flame she tried to put out is still burning.
