The song is a lean-and-hustle anthem in the early corrido tumbado mold: verse one describes drinking codeine cough syrup mixed with soda from a double cup until the drinker is physically "ladeando" (leaning); verse two sketches a low-level drug supply chain (a plug offering half price, moving product in the neighborhood); the back half frames the whole operation as a business ("Soy un hombre de negocio. Invirtiendo, exportando, duplicando") while dismissing haters and rivals. It belongs with the Herencia de Patrones songs packed with references to drug use, such as 2018's "Ladeando" (feat. Fuerza Regida) and 2019's "El De La Codeina," alongside Cano and Los Hijos de Garcia.
