"Murió la flor" is a ballad by Los Ángeles Negros, the Chilean group formed in San Carlos in 1968 and considered the first soft rock group in Spanish. Their first lead singer, Germaín de la Fuente, wrote it with Nano Concha, and it came out on the album "Los Ángeles Negros" on the Discos Sono Radio label. When Germaín left the band in 1974 he settled in Mexico and kept singing it for two decades. The lyric belongs to someone who cannot get over an absence: he dreams she is there, wakes up alone, and the love, the flower, has already died inside him.
