"Constante" es un corrido de luto y de aguante. El narrador se planta al frente y se describe como alguien que no se dobla ante las tormentas, que no es de escritorio y que se gana lo suyo en la calle. Pero a la mitad del primer verso aparece la veladora, el altar y las fotos: la canción es, más que nada, para los compas que ya no están.

El coro cambia el tono. Mira a sus hijos y a su esposa, agradece al cielo día con día y dedica la rola a sus "guerreros", los que se le adelantaron en el camino. Al final vuelve el filo ("son varios caídos, luego los vengamos"), pero lo que queda es la promesa del título: seguir constante.
La escribió Alexis Aguirre, voz y compositor del grupo, que la produjo junto a Jimmy Humilde.
"Constante" is a corrido of mourning and endurance. The narrator plants himself up front and describes himself as someone who does not bend in storms, who is not a desk man and earns his keep on the street. But halfway through the first verse come the candle, the altar and the photos: the song is, above all, for the friends who are gone.

The chorus shifts the tone. He looks at his kids and his wife, thanks heaven day by day and dedicates the song to "all my warriors" who went ahead of him on the road. The edge returns at the end ("several have fallen, then we avenge them"), but what stays is the promise in the title: to keep going, constant.
It was written by Alexis Aguirre, the group's singer and songwriter, who produced it with Jimmy Humilde.
