"La Hierba Se Movía" is a double meaning cumbia by Tropicalísimo Apache, the group from Torreón, Coahuila, that was hugely popular in northern Mexico in the eighties and nineties. A man takes his negrita up the little hill, they lie down on the grass, and the grass starts moving: the lyric explains nothing more. Between laughter and nostalgia, the bridge closes on things you never forget. Arturo Ortiz, the group's founding voice and trumpeter, sings it and is credited as writer.
