It is a man scolding himself: he knew this love was bad for him, he came to it aged by sorrows and right after breaking free of a thousand chains, and he fell anyway. It reached number one on Billboard's Latin chart in December 1989 and returned to the top in January 1990. Its lyrics were the basis for the film of the same name, directed by Sergio Olhovich and starring Los Bukis.
