"Luz de día" is from 1999, off "Néctar", the tenth studio album by Enanitos Verdes, the rock band from Mendoza, Argentina. Guitarist Felipe Staiti wrote it with songwriter Coti Sorokin, and Staiti said the idea came to him on the subway on the way to rehearsal. It is a reunion: champagne, candles, the wounds left outside and two lives that have gone separate ways, stopped for one night. It became one of the band's best known hits.
