"Siempre Contigo" is the title track and lead single of the album of the same name Lucero recorded in 1994, written and produced by Spain's Rafael Pérez-Botija, who also wrote her hit "Electricidad". It marked her return to ballads after the ranchera album "Cariño de Mis Cariños" from the same year, and in 1995 it gave her her only number one on Billboard's Latin Pop Airplay chart. It is a promise of total love in wedding language: soul to soul, skin on skin, in sickness and in health, for a lifetime and maybe after.
