"PERO NO TE ENAMORES" es la canción que cierra y le da nombre al octavo disco de Fuerza Regida, el experimento de "Jersey corridos" que salió el 25 de julio de 2024 con Afrojack, Major Lazer, Alok, Maluma y Bellakath en la lista de invitados. Después de catorce canciones de club, la última baja la velocidad: guitarras tipo sierreño y JOP hablándole a una muchacha con una sola regla, que no se enamore.

La letra es una advertencia sin adornos. Él es el niño vago, el rockstar que no sabe amar; ella es coqueta y "putifina"; juntos solo funcionan en la cama. No compra flores, y si un día las mandó, dice, fue por otra cosa. Billboard describió la canción como JOP siendo directo y crudo sobre lo escurridizo que puede ser en una relación.
JOP contó a Rolling Stone que el disco entero fue un riesgo a propósito, "como una novela": quería la turbulencia para después regresar a lo suyo. Y a Billboard Español le dijo que quería hacer Jerseys y música de baile pero mantener la esencia original de Fuerza Regida, con las guitarras. Esta canción es esa esencia al final del disco.

The lyric is a warning with no decoration. He is the niño vago, the rockstar who does not know how to love; she is flirty and "putifina"; together they only work in bed. He does not buy flowers, and if he ever sent them, he says, it was for something else. Billboard described the track as JOP being blunt and raw about how elusive he can be in relationships.
JOP told Rolling Stone the whole album was a deliberate risk, "like a novela": he wanted the turbulence so they could come back and do what they do. And he told Billboard Español he wanted to do Jerseys and dance music but keep the original Fuerza Regida essence, with the guitars. This song is that essence at the end of the record.
