"Te propongo esta noche" (Tonight I propose) is the only dance number on Amarte es un placer (1999): it begins as smooth R&B and halfway through turns into percussion-driven club music. It was the album's seventh single. Arturo Pérez, Juan Carlos Calderón and Luis Miguel himself wrote it, and AllMusic called it one of the album's most interesting songs. The lyric is a second chance: two former lovers meet again on a full moon night, and he proposes they forget the past and dance.
