The central image is water in his hands: "Y te metiste como el agua entre mis manos, para quedarte siempre" (you got in like water between my hands, to stay forever). He wonders how to repay so much happiness, cannot bear to see her cry, and swears he is hers alone. It is one of the few Ariel Camacho ballads made purely of tenderness.
