A song made of what's left over. It all hangs on one word: queda, what remains. How little remains of their love, almost nothing, not even a word. What remains is the silence that makes the long cold night explode. What remains is the urge to cry as their love drifts off, and the image that gives it its title: face to face, they both look down, because there's nothing left to talk about. What survives is tiny, a little tenderness, a kind gesture so life isn't unbearable.

It's the classic sung by the Spanish singer Jeanette, and Natanael Cano made it his own on Natanael Cano, Vol. 1, the album released on August 28, 2026 through Rancho Humilde and Los CT Records. The album marked his return to corridos tumbados after Porque La Demora, and among his own songs he slipped in two tributes to songs from outside the genre: this one and Cristian Castro's Por Amarte Así. Natanael is from Hermosillo, Sonora, and at the time he was gearing up for a stadium tour across Mexico.
