Mi Perro Sentimiento
Adrian L Santos · 2024

Heartbreak with a dog's name. She still has that smile that shows off her charm, but he can't stand her anymore; her kisses are gone and he doesn't even feel like looking for them. He's hurting enough that nobody asks, and drinking Monday to Monday, days, weeks, maybe months, remembering he once had her. He sends her away, even if it hurts and even if he loves her, and he doesn't know how to forget her scent. The chorus image is the one that sticks: his dog of a feeling, which she left lying there without saying sorry. She kissed someone else in front of him; the alcohol doesn't heal the wound, it only makes him forget it for a while.
