"Me Tocó Morir" es un corrido cantado desde el suelo: le falta el aire, le sale sangre de la boca, las balas lo hirieron y es momento de despedirse. Repasa lo vivido, admite que traqueteó desde morro, deja a la madre llorando y pide que destapen un bote blanco y se sequen el llanto. El coro lo cuenta de golpe: llegaron por la espalda, una lluvia de balas, ni la blindada aguantó, y entre Dios y el diablo le tocó morir. Alfredo Olivas abre y JOP contesta.

"Me Tocó Morir" is a corrido sung from the ground: he is out of breath, blood is coming from his mouth, the bullets got him and it is time to say goodbye. He replays what he lived, admits he worked the trade since he was a kid, leaves his mother crying and asks them to crack open a white can and dry the tears. The chorus tells it all at once: they came from behind, a rain of bullets, not even the armored truck held, and between God and the devil it was his turn to die. Alfredo Olivas opens and JOP answers.
