A fairy tale told backwards, by the beast. He asks for her hand to tell her how much he loves her and how much he loved her; he hasn't forgotten that summer day when she looked so pretty. He sees her again: her long hair weakens him, her smile, what a joy. She hasn't changed, he has. And then he casts himself: he's the bad guy, like the beast, she was the queen, the princess, and in this story he was the fraud. She deserves someone who loves her. But it's too late to tell her, and all he has left is to look into her eyes and see the beauty that still remains.
