Tú Name

JOP la escribió para que los fans despechados olvidaran un nombre, y al final el que lo olvidó fue él, en inglés.JOP wrote it so heartbroken fans could forget a name, and in the end he's the one who forgot it, in English.
Sentí que sería esa y el equipo también lo sintió.”When I started writing ‘Tu Name’, I just knew it was going to be different. I felt it would be the one and the team felt it too.
JOP put it plainly: he thought about all the heartbroken fans he sees at his shows and wrote this song "so you forget her name." Tú Name is the other side of heartbreak. Instead of crying, the narrator goes out with his crew, takes someone new shopping and buys her everything he never bought his ex. By the chorus he cannot even remember her name, and he says it in half English, the way bilingual Southern California talks. It led off the Dolido Pero No Arrepentido EP (February 2024) and was its highest Billboard debut. The toxic swagger is the joke, and the band sold it that way: the video, directed by MIGUEL, a childhood friend of the group, shows gold chains spelling out the three women's names in the lyric, Brianna, Julianna and Tania.
