If he falls in love, Paris; if he just likes her, the hotel: two lines that define the character and that the crowd sings word for word.
"El Enamorado" is Los Titanes de Durango's party corrido: another bottle, nothing but pretty plebitas, Red Seal Buchanan's, cockfight arenas, this year's trucks and the character's rule: if he falls in love he takes her to Paris, if he just likes her, to the hotel. Sergio Sánchez Ayón, leader, accordionist and lead singer of the group founded in Durango in 2003, wrote it, and in 2010 it became their international hit, the one that took them to the big stages in Mexico and the United States. The recording on this page is the Disa one, the label they joined in 2006 after Fieraz Sinaloenses and Amor Real.
