He sees her eyes full of resentment, her lips lying more and more, the kisses that already end in goodbye, and says he has to get out and he's not coming back. But the chorus gives him away: he wishes he could go back and dance holding her again, run away from the city and cry from love in her arms. In the end he leaves anyway. He doesn't want to cry over her anymore or find out whether this time she'll love him. He's tired.
