"La Magia" es de Río Salvaje (2016), el segundo disco de Little Jesus, la banda de indie rock y tropipop formada en 2012 en la Ciudad de México. Ese disco alejó al grupo del surf rock de su debut Norte hacia el pop, el rock alternativo y toques de psicodelia, y "La Magia" quedó entre sus temas más populares. Ese mismo año abrieron el concierto de The Rolling Stones en México. La letra regaña a alguien que corre a toda velocidad detrás de un trabajo que la está matando, y luego le ofrece un trato sencillo: aunque no tengan nada, yo pongo las canciones y tú la magia. El crédito de autor es de Santiago Casillas, la voz del grupo.
"La Magia" comes from Río Salvaje (2016), the second album by Little Jesus, the indie rock and tropipop band formed in Mexico City in 2012. That record moved the group from the surf rock of their debut Norte toward pop, alternative rock and touches of psychedelia, and "La Magia" became one of its most popular songs. The same year they opened for The Rolling Stones in Mexico. The lyric scolds someone running at full speed after a job that is killing her, then offers a simple deal: even if we have nothing, I bring the songs and you bring the magic. The writing credit belongs to Santiago Casillas, the band's singer.
