"Yo Te Necesito" is the title track of the album Los Bukis released on Melody in 1982, written, like nearly all their songs, by Marco Antonio Solís. As a single it reached number 2 on the US Latin chart, and the album was nominated for the Grammy for Best Mexican-American Performance. It is a grupero ballad that pleads straight out: she left a few days ago, the hours drag, and he asks her to come back to the home that is waiting for her.
