"Descansando" is a corrido sung from heaven. The narrator died at dawn driving his truck, never got to say goodbye, and from the other side thanks everyone for their prayers: he is resting now. He promises to hug his father when the wind blows, kiss his mother when it rains hard, and asks his brother to look after his little girls. What weighs on him most is the best truck in Houston that he will never drive again.
