Jimmy Humilde sums it up in one line: it is a corrido about a kid who grew up on the streets of Los Angeles and ended up dealing drugs. The narrator talks about hunger, being out on the street with no family, and how people saw him as "un chamaco sin futuro" (a kid with no future), until the neighborhood started to respect him. Now he works quietly, off the government's radar.
