"Me olvidé de vivir" (I forgot to live) is the Spanish version of "J'ai oublié de vivre", by Pierre Billon and Jacques Revaux, which Johnny Hallyday recorded in France in 1977. Julio Iglesias adapted it and released it in 1978 as a single and as the opening track of his album "Emociones"; the next year it was the theme of the film of the same title that he starred in. It is a ballad that takes stock of a life: a singer who, from so much running, singing and living off applause, forgot the small details and lost what he loved most.
