"Penumbras" is a ballad by Sandro and Oscar Anderle from La magia de Sandro, released by CBS in 1968. It was the most successful album of his career, the one where the pair had defined their romantic ballad, with "Penumbras", "Tengo" and "Así" among its main songs. The lyric is a love declaration in half light: the night, the moon and the sea all jealous of her, and an ending that won't bargain: "no me pidas que no te ame así", don't ask me not to love you like this. Sandro, one of the fathers of Argentine rock, died in 2010.
